Sauteed Green Beans with Almonds
Fresh green beans sauteed until tender-crisp and tossed with toasted almonds and a hint of lemon.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Bean (Fresh Green) (trimmed)
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1/3 cup Almond
- 2 clove Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Salt (to taste)

Directions
- Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Drain and transfer to an ice bath.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced almonds and toast until golden, about 2 minutes.
- Add garlic and drained green beans. Saute for 4-5 minutes until heated through.
- Finish with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss and serve.
