Sauteed Green Beans with Almonds

Fresh green beans sauteed until tender-crisp and tossed with toasted almonds and a hint of lemon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bean (Fresh Green) (trimmed)
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/3 cup Almond
  • 2 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Drain and transfer to an ice bath.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced almonds and toast until golden, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and drained green beans. Saute for 4-5 minutes until heated through.
  5. Finish with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss and serve.
