Honey Cornbread
Sweet and moist cornbread with a golden crust. A Southern classic that pairs perfectly with chili or soups.

- 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1/3 cup Butter
- 2 Egg
- 1/4 cup Honey

Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9-inch cast iron skillet or baking dish.
- Whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and honey.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared skillet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
