Creamy Mac and Cheese
Rich and creamy homemade macaroni and cheese with a blend of sharp cheddar and Gruyere. Pure comfort food.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Elbow Macaroni
- 4 tablespoon Butter
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 3 cup Milk (Whole)
- 2 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese (shredded)
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
- Salt (to taste)

Directions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar, Gruyere, mustard powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Add cooked macaroni and stir until fully coated. Serve hot.
