Buttery Dinner Rolls

Soft, fluffy, and golden-brown dinner rolls brushed with melted butter. Perfect for soaking up sauces and gravies.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 Packet Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Butter (softened)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Butter For Brushing (Melted)

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add yeast mixture, softened butter, and egg. Knead until smooth, about 8 minutes.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls and place in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  5. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 375°F for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Brush with melted butter immediately after removing from oven.
